This narrative music video, tells the story of a family, business man, and his last day living before he is killed at the end of the music video. The music video shows the entire day of this man, and as the day goes on the effects of his death begin to appear on his body such as the injures to his face and head as well as the effect his death has on his suit which as the song continues, becomes damaged.
The visuals throughout are well linked with the lyrics, as what you hear from the song is nearly always what you see in the video, meaning that they correspond well together. However this seems a very simplistic idea, as you could guess what the song is about by just watching the video without any lyrics.
The video focuses on the actor, throughout following them, mostly at a medium shot, as there day goes on. The viewer has no idea of what has happened to the actor, until the very end, where we see the accident combined with the lyrics
